Pig industry facts and figures are at your fingertips in the latest BPEX Yearbook which has just been published.
The Yearbook includes details of the knowledge transfer, research and development work being carried out in Britain. It also looks at the innovation fund projects which include the use of electronic sow feeders for outdoor production while under the health section is a piece on the extremely popular rodent control programme.
BPEX head of Technical Andrew Knowles said: “Keeping a business competitive is not an easy task but doing so without the relevant information is an almost impossible task. The BPEX Yearbook combines the facts and figures needed along with a wealth of information about projects which are all ultimately aimed at improving the profitability of the industry.”
