Top UK pig genetics company JSR have reinforced their commitment to the global pig industry by appointing Paul Anderson (pictured) to the role of International Sales Director. Previously European Sales Director, Paul has seen his responsibilities expand as the drive for competitive pig production has led to a surge in demand for high quality genetics across the world.

Tim Rymer, Chairman, comments “Paul’s experience of working within different cultures utilising a wide variety of production systems is unrivalled and equips him with the skills and knowledge needed to continue to meet the needs of an ever changing industry.”

Paul first joined JSR in 1988, looking after the Midlands, Shropshire and the Home Counties in England. As interest in the JSR portfolio expanded across Europe, Paul’s role extended to support this new business. Understanding how the pig industry operates globally whilst developing and maintaining successful partnerships with local producers, is crucial to success says Paul. “Relationships take a lot of time and effort to develop and have to be nurtured. The back up support from our global partners, agents and distributors cannot be under-estimated, it is a real team effort. With a strong product line-up, access to high health status animals increasingly provided at a local level and a commitment to sound technical back up I am confident that we can continue to build the reputation of high quality UK genetics across the globe.”
