A team of British exhibitors, including several members from the British Livestock
Genetics Consortium (BLG) will be joining over 250 other exhibitors from across
South East Asia at the 5th Livestock Asia Expo and Conference in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia, from 27 to 29 October 2009. More about this event can be seen at www.livestockasia.com
Since the event started in 2001, Livestock Asia has grown to be one of the
top integrated feed, livestock and meat industry gatherings in the region. The
show will be bigger than ever this year and over 30% of visitors will be from
outside Malaysia.
Led by Chris Jackson from the British Pig Association, the British team will
include:
• British Livestock Genetics Consortium - Andrew Taylor
• Lordswood Farms – Malcolm Pearce
• Livestock Genetics – Rex Walters
• Livestock Export Solutions – Geraldine Middleton
• South Devon Cattle – Richard Hartshorn
• Brit Asia Pedigree Pigs – Tony Osborne
• Teagle Farm Machinery - Andrew Venton
Rex Walters and Andrew Taylor will also be speaking at the associated Asian
Livestock, Feed and Meat Industry Conference 09. An anticipated attendance of
over 550 will give these representatives an ideal opportunity to impress delegates
from across the region with the merits of the British pig, cattle and meat industries.
