Keystone Genetics in Austalia have just imported
Limousin semen from Britain
from two new sires, Sympa and Goldies Terence. Both bulls are from exceptional
female lines and were selected whilst Keystone visited the UK for last
year's ILC.
SYMPA is a son of Operette and is herd sire in the Ridley
family's Haltcliffe herd. Tim Keys reports "we inspected Sympa
and progeny and were extremely impressed with the power of his sons
and growth
and style
of his daughters". A Sympa daughter was Junior and Reserve Overall
Female
Champion at the ILC show, whilst a son, Haltcliffe Ullswater, was the
highest
priced bull sold at auction in the UK in 2004, selling for over GB£ 45,000,
the
second highest price ever paid for a Limousin bull.

GOLDIES TERENCE is from an embryo progeny that Jim Goldie
imported to re-establish his famous Goldies herd (having lost it to
FMD in 2001).
Terence is sired by Ideal 23, a renowned French bull for both muscle
and docility,
while his mother Emue is one of France's best. Tim Keys inspected Terrence
and
several other Emue progeny at the Goldies herd last year.

OPERA SEMEN BACK IN STOCK / MUSCLE SCORE NOW IN TOP 1%
Keystone have recently imported another shipment of Opera semen from
Britain
and are pleased to be able to continue to make him available to Australian
breeders.
Confirming the performance we have seen in Opera's progeny, his UK
figures
now place him in the top 1% for Muscle Score and top 10% for Muscle
Depth
for the breed. For more and Australia contacts, see www.geocities.com/keystim and for other countries route enquiries to www.britishlivestockgenetics.com
The new edition of the Limousin Bull Book has
recently been published. Details of the above bulls and others are
included, but sadly gremlins
lead to
Sympa being omitted. To get it, contact www.limousin.co.uk
